You built the business. Your health paid for it.
I work with founders, CEOs and senior operators, 40 to 60, with the business built or close to it.
Most of them are miscalibrated, not lazy.
You used to bounce back.
Now a hard week costs you days, sleep doesn’t refresh you, the energy’s gone by the afternoon, and the belly won’t budge however clean you eat.
If testosterone has come up, TRT was probably the only answer offered, and for most of the men I talk to, that’s the last thing they want.
What I usually find is interference: something in the timing or the order of what you’re doing that works against everything else.
Push harder on top of it and it tends to get worse. Most of my work is finding it and taking it away.
Serious illness in my twenties left me with conditions the medical system didn’t have the answer for, and it took six years of trial and error to settle them.
For years after that I was the optimization guy. I stacked 15 or more supplements a day, wore a Whoop for 18 months, and did Wim Hof breathing before fasted 6am training.
I was wrong about most of it.
My sleep got better when I took the Whoop off. My testosterone later tested at 851 ng/dL, and I didn’t use TRT to get there (even after beating testicular cancer).
A well-built engine runs on the right timing, the right order and the right conditions.
Your body works the same way: when you eat, train, get light and recover matters as much as what you do.
I’m not anti-tracking.
I just find most men feel better once a ring or a wristband stops setting the tone for their day.
The goal is that you stop needing me. I’ve coached 120+ clients over 5 years, and most of the work is taking things away.
I post Notes here. The full emails go out through my newsletter every Tuesday and Friday, built on the patterns I see with clients.
